The Viking 68 checks every box – and then a few more. With four staterooms, five heads and a salon designed for comfort and flow, the 68 also delivers the key performance attributes that define a true tournament contender: speed, range and maneuverability.
This blue-water convertible is built to excel both as a sportfishing machine and a luxury cruising yacht. A 176-square-foot cockpit provides a spacious platform for serious fishing, while guests can enjoy the ride from the air-conditioned observation mezzanine. The Seakeeper further increases comfort in offshore conditions. The yacht’s exterior lines are defined by an aggressively raked stem, gently sloping sheer and swept-back black-masked windshield.
Cockpit
Tournament features abound, including the walk-through transom door with lift gate, transom live well, in-deck fishboxes, chilled salon step box, fresh and saltwater washdowns and reinforced fighting chair backing plate. The mezzanine includes aft-facing lounge seating with Sunbrella cushions, tackle drawers, a bait freezer and excellent access to the Seakeeper via the large lazarette hatch. Dual Glendinning Cablemasters provide dockside flexibility.
Bridge Options
The open flybridge includes a center console helm with fingertip Optimus Electronic Power Steering and electronic trolling valves. Rod storage is found under port and starboard bench seats, while electronics are flush-mounted in an all-glass display. Forward of the helm is a bench seat and freezer.
Accommodations
The salon of the Viking 68 is both refined and functional, offering a spacious open layout that blends comfort and practicality. Aft, a large L-shaped lounge invites relaxation and provides excellent visibility to the cockpit. The island galley anchors the space with bar stools, under-counter refrigeration, freezer drawers and all the amenities you’d expect in a modern kitchen, making it a natural hub for entertaining or meal prep. Opposite, a dinette with walnut table creates a perfect setting for casual dining. Satin and gloss-finished horizontal grain cabinetry, premium materials and a thoughtfully designed flow make the salon a welcoming space for long trips and tournament days alike.
The master stateroom is appointed with a queen walkaround berth, walnut cabinetry, hanging locker, HDTV and ensuite head with a separate shower. The forward guest stateroom has a walkaround queen berth with deep under-bed storage. Port and crew staterooms each offer upper and lower bunks and private heads with stall showers. Crew quarters are accessed via a separate staircase for added privacy.Engineering and Performance
The stand-up engineroom features Viking’s structural stringer system with aluminum saddles and methacrylate bonding. Fuel tanks are molded into the hull, maximizing draw and structural integrity. Standard fuel capacity is 2,015 gallons, with an optional upgrade to 2,377 gallons.
